Stay Organized Save Time
Spring is over and summer is here, temperatures are rising and hunting is right around the corner. Now is the time to Stay Organized and Save Time for when hunting season gets here.
If you are like us here at CO, you're either fishing or trying to keep your mind occupied from thoughts of a cool north breeze. Summer fishing can be long, hot and tiring so getting out early is critical. That’s why we here at CO go out fishing in the mornings when the humidity is down and it is still relatively cool.
Once you get home from fishing there are chores, like cutting grass and groceries that need buying and all those small things done around the house. That list of equipment that needs to be replaced or that yearly maintenance on the boat has probably taken a back burner to the other summer chores.Well, before you know it, that north breeze is here and you just realized there’s a list of things you haven’t done from last season. Staying organized to save time. That’s what this post is about. Organization! Being the outdoormen or women that you are, you probably always have some equipment that needs to be fixed or things you need to buy. So, staying organized will help save you time and aggravation in the long run.
Capitol Outdoors does all of this electronically so we have our lists on the go. This allows us to add items, prices and stores with the click of a few buttons. On your computer or in a cloud application, create two folders. I have two main areas in which I focus my attention: fishing & hunting. Not to overwhelm our readers we are going to focus on one area... hunting. However the concept of staying organized in fishing is the same just named differently.
In the hunting folder create another folder for pictures, articles, but most important create an ongoing word document: To Do list and a wish list.
That's it!!! Believe us when we tell you, this will help you in the off season when those specialty items go on sale.
