When 9:00 o'clock rolled around exhibitors were finishing their final touches and anglers waiting in line were sharing stories and fishing tips. As we turned down the main hallway it was clear to see how the show had grown over the years. In 2001, Michael finished first place in Bassmasters Casting Kids held at the Tinley Park Fishing and Outdoors Show and the year before that he placed 2nd. This was a turning point in his outlook on the outdoor industry and it's easy to see how the show has grown over the years.
If you are looking for a good time, for you and the whole family, then the Tinley Park Fishing & Outdoors Show is for you. What about those in the family that aren't really into fishing or hunting. Well you're in luck; organizations like Pheasants Forever, and Ducks Unlimited were also in attendance. These organizations are there to talk about conservation and to inform people that there's so much more to our culture then what meets the eye.
I knew that I could never see everything this show has to offer. Unfortunately, other commitments cut my time at the show short, however looking down the hallway, I knew this show will have another 22 years of Fishing and Outdoor stories to tell.
