Anglers should Sign Up for B.A.S.S Fantasy League and Watch Bassmaster Live
Today is the first day you can start making your line up for B.A.S.S Fantasy Fishing. Not sure if you want to sign up, you're not alone check out how we were last year.
Last year, I was browsing online when the B.A.S.S Facebook page mentioned new registration for the Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing Team. Never really being into the whole fantasy thing I decided to take a step out of my comfort zone in hopes of learning something new.
My knowledge of the Bassmaster's is very limited at this point. Back in 2000, I attended the Classic that was held in Chicago with Woo Daves winning it all. Because the Classic was in Chicago there were many meet and greets and this is where I had the privilege of meeting KVD.
Fast forward 20 years and my passion for fishing has increased but my knowledge of B.A.S.S has not gone farther then a few top guys; IKE, KVD, Randy Howell, Jason Christy. That's about it, to be honest because I could have cared less about B.A.S.S. and their tournaments. I wanted to know how to catch more fish and for me there were plenty of avenues out there to help me do that.
So, last year I decided to create a fantasy team and watch the tournaments live. After picking my first team, which was probably the easiest thing I've ever done in fishing, it was waiting time. If you play B.A.S.S. Fantasy you'll see there's a whole bunch of items to win. Gift cards, prize packs, etcetera but my eye's were set on winning the grand prize, a new boat. After picking my team and waiting in anticipation, the 2016 Bassmaster Classic was in full swing. I was all pumped up, in hopes of winning some money and that new boat.

You may ask yourself, why watch 7 hours of fishing? First you'll learn things by watching these guys in real time. It's different watching it on a show where they talk about fishing or you just see them catch fish. During the Live Tournaments you get to see the hours and hours that go by between bites, the grind they go through, the fish they lose and how and where they fish.
All in all, its a great time. Sign up for B.A.S.S Fantasy Fishing and have some fun. You can create your team today by clicking Here. You can check out prizes, and the schedule there as well.
Oh and if you're wondering, I didn't win that boat or any tournament for that matter. I've found that there is more to it than just picking some guys in hopes that they win a particular tournament. Maybe this year my luck will turn around. No matter what be sure to watch it LIVE, you won't regret it.
I think our German friend from last year who was visiting our Nation's Capitol said it best "GO BASSMASTERS"!
